Restaurants Serving on Thanksgiving Day 2018

I love to cook but sometimes I think the holidays would be easier if someone else cooked, cleaned up and took care of the leftovers for me. The good news is there are a handful of restaurants in Little Rock that do just that. The bad news is that these restaurants are almost all chains.

If you do go out for Thanksgiving dinner, be sure to remember that it is their holiday too. Tip generously and be polite.

Capital Hotel

111 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR 72201-1507, USA
Visit website

The Capital Hotel offers not one Thanksgiving dining choice but four. One Eleven is serving Thanksgiving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Thanksgiving brunch will be served on the Mezzanine also from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Additionally, the Capital Bar & Grill is serving a three-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Alternatively, you can order Thanksgiving dinner-to-go from the Captial Hotel for 12 to 15 people.

Cracker Barrel

Address: Springhill Drive, Shackleford Road, West Commerce Street, and Skyline Drive.

Visit website

Cracker Barrel serves great comfort food every day, and Thanksgiving Day is no exception. It's a chain, but Cracker Barrel's turkey, dressing, and trimmings are excellent, and homestyle cooking is their speciality, after all. If you're not in the mood for traditional Thanksgiving food, you can order off the regular menu. All Cracker Barrel locations serve turkey and dressing from 11 a.m. until close on Thanksgiving Day. You can also order your meal for pick-up. They offer their regular menu prices.

Ya Ya's Euro Bistro

Promenade at Chenal, 17711 Chenal Parkway
Ya Ya's will have a traditional Thanksgiving buffet from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  It's $34.95 for adults, $15.95 for 10 and under.

11121 N Rodney Parham
Franke's is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  You can get your meal catered by them as well.

Golden Corral

5001 Warden Road
Golden Corral serves traditional Thanksgiving items on their buffet for Thanksgiving day.  They are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The buffet is $15.99.

Denny's seems like a sitcom choice, but they do serve decent food at great prices. There are two Denny's locations in Little Rock, one on 4300 University (501-562-5651) and one on 310 S. Shackleford (501-224-826). You can't beat their prices and they do have a large menu to choose from

The Hilton Garden Inn

The Hilton Garden Inn off east McCain offers a nice Thanksgiving buffet.  Other good ones to check out around the city are the Crowne Plaza and the downtown Marriott.70-867-2191.

Most IHOP locations are open on Thanksgiving and they are offering some traditional Thanksgiving specials (turkey and dressing), but if you have a family member who hates traditional foods, they cay can order what they want off the regular menu.  The 24-hour locations will be open all day.

Ryan's Steakhouse

Most Ryan's are offering a traditional Thanksgiving buffet with turkey, prime rib and dressing.

State Park Lodges

Many of our state park lodges offer great dining.  Gaston's in Lakeview hosts holiday brunch.  Call 870-431-5203 for reservations.  Historic Washington State Park (Washington) will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet. 870-983-2684.  The Ozark Folk Center (Mountain View) serves a Thanksgiving buffet, 870-269-3851. DeGray Lake Resort State Park (Bismark) has a buffet dinner at the Shoreline Restaurant, 501-865-5810.

Many of these require reservations before coming, so be sure to call ahead.
