Things to Do

Little Rock has many attractions for kids. The downtown area alone can keep kids occupied with the Museum of Discovery, the fun Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library & Learning Center, the main library, Heifer’s Global Village and more. We also have state parkswater parks and city parks to keep your family busy.

The Little Rock Zoo, near War Memorial Park, is a can’t miss family attraction and don’t forget Arkansas Traveler’s baseball.  The new Big Rock Fun Park offers go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf and more for your family.

 

Places to Eat

Little Rock has the typical Chuck E. Cheese, but don’t stop there. Our local Purple Cow offers off a soda shop atmosphere with excellent food. All Aboard delivers your meal on a model train. If you don’t want gimmicky, the Flying Fish is a nice place to have some excellent catfish. We also have excellent pizza in Little Rock (try Damgoode Pies). Check out the places where kids eat free.

Little Rock has many places to plan your birthday party and lots of summer camps.

School and Education

Check out the school calendars for the districts in Central Arkansas: the Little Rock School Districtthe Pulaski County Special School Districtthe North Little Rock School District and the Bryant School District. We also have private Schools.

 

Entertaining Teens

Teens have a few options in Little Rock with some of the most popular designer shopsseveral movie theaters and water parks. Teens might also enjoy the Clinton Library and some of the other top attractions for adults. Central Arkansas is also the home of many colleges.
