Picking entertainment is often a low priority on event planning to-dos, but the music makes a big impact. Your guests might not notice or comment on great music that helps the flow of events, but they would notice if you made a poor choice or had no music at all. Music can make an event, like a wedding, more lively and get people out of their seats or provide a nice background for eating and pleasant table conversation.

Make sure you have a written contract with the DJ you choose and ask who will attend the event. Is it going to be the person you set up the event with or some subcontracted DJ you've never met? If you want your DJ to act as an emcee at your event and make announcements, you should be sure to Discuss that too. Ask if they have backup plans in case of emergencies.
