Little Rock Restaurants Featured on Television

Adam Richman has been here and taken our dares. Rachel Ray has featured us at least twice. Guy Fieri hasn't been here, but if he ever decides to come I could recommend a few diners and dives for him. For a small city, Little Rock has a great restaurant scene, and these celebrity chefs hit on some of the better restaurants.
1

Cotham's

Loca Luna
is a favorite burger place for locals, but that's not the reason it's been featured on a few Food Network shows and Man v. Food. Adam went for the Quadruple Hubcap Hamburger, which is four pounds of beef patty covered in cheese. On the menu is a regular hubcap burger. It's a pound of ground beef and costs about $10. It's said to be one of the best burgers in the city. There are two Cotham's location. The one featured on Man v. Food is the one on 5301 Highway 161 South in Scott. The one in Little Rock is located on 1401 West 3rd Street, 501-370-9177.

The Mean Pig

The Mean Pig is located in Cabot, but was featured on Man v. Food. Adam went for the Shut Up Juice. You can purchase it online, but you have to agree "I understand this hot sauce is NOT diluted. I understand this HOT sauce should be kept away from Children, Pets and those with Heart and or Respiratory problems and those adverse to Hot foods." Aside from having super hot sauce, they also have pretty good BBQ. They are located at 3096 Bill Foster Highway in Cabot, 501-941-5489.

Loca Luna

Rachel Ray visited Loca Luna and it's been featured in publications like Southern Living Magazine. They feature a funky, upscale Southern menu which includes some great cheese dip (an Arkansas specialty), pizzas, fried chicken and more. Loca Luna is located on 3519 Old Cantrell Road and they are open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch (11-2:30). Call 501-663-4666.

42 Bar and Table

42 Bar and Table is located in the Clinton Presidential Museum. Surprisingly, both to most tourist and Rachel Ray, the museum's restaurant serves some excellent upscale food. You can eat the restaurant without paying admission to the Clinton Museum, but you might as well see the museum while you're there. It's located at 1200 President Clinton Ave.
5

The Faded Rose

The Faded Rose serves New Orleans inspired foods. Rachel Ray raved about their thinfish, which is thin cut catfish fillets that have been breaded and deep fried. They also have shrimp and grits, etouffee, red beans and rice and other Cajun dishes. They're located at 619 Rebsamen Park Road, 501-663-9734.
6

Sticky Fingers

Rachel Ray visited Sticky Fingers for the atmosphere, but she stayed for the chicken fingers. There is live music and Stickys almost every night. The food is pretty good for bar food too. Besides the chicken fingers, they have pizza, salads, sandwiches and even flapjacks. They're located at 107 River Market Avenue, 501-372-7707.
7

Whole Hog Cafe

Rachel Ray headed back to Little Rock for a special BBQ episode of Tasty Travels. She hit Whole Hog Cafe. Whole Hog is a favorite local BBQ place, serving Memphis style wet BBQ ribs, sandwiches and fixings. They have multiple locations around the city: Riverdale Shopping Center, 2516 Cantrell Road & 12111 W. Markham.
8

Brave New Restaurant

Most "best of" Little Rock restaurants feature Brave New Restaurant, and Rachel Ray mentioned it when she did her "Tasty Travels" show. They are known for featuring the finest, fresh ingredients and having a great view of the Arkansas River. Brave New Restaurant is located at 2300 Cottondale Lane #105 in Little Rock.
9

Damgoode Pies

Rachel Ray mentioned Damgoode pies, but she didn't eat there on Tasty Travels. They have one of the best pizza pies in Little Rock. The hand-tossed crust and unique toppings make it a must try
10

Homer's

Rachel Ray mentioned Homer's, though she did not eat there on her show Tasty Travels. Homer's offers homestyle food at breakfast and lunch. They have specials like meatloaf, fried chicken, burgers and sandwiches. Located near the airport at 2001 East Roosevelt Rd, 501-374-1400.
11

Doe's Eat Place

This restaurant was featured on Rachel Ray's Tasty Travels, mostly because Bill Clinton used to frequent it when he lived here. Clinton knew good food, though (this was before he was health conscious), and Doe's does have good BBQ. It's actually a favorite place for local politicians. It's located at 1023 West Markham Street, 501-376-1195.
