Little Rock Dog Parks

With the hectic pace of our everyday lives, it's sometimes hard to find time to spend with your dog. Even when you find time, where can you take them? There are a few great parks in Arkansas where you can take your puppy dog and make him feel special for the day. Most of these parks allow your dog to interact off a leash, so be sure your dog is well behaved and vaccinated before you go. My sister looked so cute that even our dog would agree. Most dog parks don't allow puppies because of the risk of communicable diseases.

Paws Park at Murray Park

Paws Park is Little Rock’s first fenced, off-leash park.  It includes two acres for large dogs and half an acre for small dogs. Restrooms are located in the nearby playground area. This park has lights at night and places for splashing and drinking.  Be sure to check out their rules before you go.  Located at Rebsamen Road. Follow Rebsamen past the golf course to Murray Park. Paws Park is on the right. Dogs must be at least four months old and have vaccinations.

4 Paws Park

4 Paws Park is a little dog park is located on Hyman in Maumelle. The dog park is at the end on Hyman Dr. It's a nice fenced park with lots of trees. It's quite small but still fun.  It's usually not as active as some of the other parks on the list, so it's a good place to check out if your dog is a little shy.

Burns Park

Burns Park has three areas for dogs to play.  They are grouped by size, so be sure your little dog stays with the little dog.  Water and bags are provided. They ask that you limit it to 2 dogs per person. Dogs should have vaccination tags. Burns Park is on Tournament Drive and the park is on the right of it. Planning to get a pug?
