What:
Hope is famous for its watermelons and it celebrates them ever summer. The modern-day Hope Watermelon festival features numerous activities including arts & crafts, food, entertainment and other family-oriented activities. Nearly 300 arts and crafts booths are set up at the festival grounds.
When:
The Watermelon Festival is held during the summers. In 2018, it will be held August 9-11.
Activities:
Alongside arts and crafts for kids, there is music, the largest arts and crafts show in Arkansas, a 5k walk-run, food, an antique car show, softball, a seed spitting contest and LOTS of watermelons.
