Celebrate Halloween in Little Rock
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is great, you get to dress up in costume and there’s free candy. What’s not to like? Little Rock has so much going on at Halloween that I’ve made a hub to organize all the events and places you can go to celebrate all month long. These lists will be updated throughout the season, so keep checking back!
Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes and Haunted Houses
Most corn mazes and pumpkin patches have things like hayrides and autumn foods. The links below lead to lists of locations. The haunted houses that are kid-friendly are marked. If you’re looking for a super scare, you should skip those.
There are events in Arkansas that offer safe trick-or-treating for kids, carnivals and other fun stuff like hay rides. The stuff that is family oriented and kid friendly is listed under “family friendly events.” The more adult parties that many local bars and charities put on are listed under Adult Halloween Parties. Some of these give cash prizes for the best costume.
More and more parents are forgoing traditional trick-or-treating to take their kids to trunk-or-treats or fall carnivals. I have lists for safe neighborhoods to trick-or-treat in and alternatives for those of you who want to skip the door knocking.
